Actually, what you should hope for is that all lottery winners who are receiving annuities end up being shortchanged because the annuity companies go bankrupt like Enron.

i would also like to say when i won i had no choice of cash option so lets just drop that discussion right now. i am making out good on only 8 installments and still have 17 left. they could stop sending the checks and my family would still be in great shape financially...i have invested well and worked hard to maintain our lifestyle...
