The NY Lotto 6/59 game, which is the latest version of the nation's longest continuously running Lotto game, has a major flaw-the prize pool is only 40% of sales, the lowest in the country. While you get 2 games for $1, matching 3-of-6 wins YOUR DOLLAR BACK; 4-of-6 has paid only $13 on a couple occasions. The NY Lottery advertises the Lotto 6/59 heavily because of Powerball/Big Game/NJ Pick-6 Lotto in the tri-state area. Hopefully NY players will take NY Lotto and-shove-it with the debut of Mega... [ More ]

The NY Lottery targets teenagers too! They want 18, 19, 20 year olds to play. In one commercial they had a bunch of teens talking about how fun it is to play. The NY Lottery is a joke, what the heck is Pick-10? The NJ lottery doesn't even really advertise, because they don't have to. The NJ lottery is doing fine, but the NY lottery is probably losing money. But, basically all lotteries are some way a scam, because you lose

Today on some radio show in NYC, I think it was WABC. They were discussing the Mega-Millions coming to NY. And they said that the lottery is a scam. The odds are so great! And the money doesn't really benefit education. They try to use education to show people that the lottery is good. But, no! The lottery sucks up all your money, 99.9% of all players are LOSERS
