Why did you pick 260 combinations? For MegaMillion, picking 260 combination would allow you to pick each regular number 25 times and each bonus numbers 5 times garanteeing at least 5 winning picks. Is there a minimum amount of combinations that are more likely to have a favorable return. What do you suggest to your subscribers?RJOh

This list did better in MegaMillion 07/02/02 then the numbers I played. Maybe I should just start picking totally random numbers and lots of them.RJOh

Yep. Some nights I can't pi$$ a drop. Other nights it depends on the game. Check newsgroup rec.gambling.lottery and you will see my Lotto Cheatah entry picks scored big on the final round of the World Cup of Lotto. If you played SuperLotto Plus last night using Lotto Cheatah picks, it had the Megaball nailed for 20% in the money picks, including my best pick for this game this year, a 4/5+Megaball hit. I've got a lot of happy California users today.

Anyone interested can recheck my figures. My figures show overall odds of having a winning ticket in PowerBall (5/49 + 1/42) is 1:34.7 which means one would expect to have 7-8 winning combinations out of 260 combinations. Drawing 06/29/02 = 04 - 33 - 35 - 36 - 45 + (22)Lottocheatah list3 of 49 = 1 ($7)Total winning combinations = 1___________________________RJOh list0 of 49 + PB = 7 ($21)1 of 49 + PB = 2 ($8)2 of 49 + PB = 1 ($7)3 of 49 = 2 ($14)Total winning combinations = 12

You must have a lot of confident in your program to post these numbers for anyone to compare the results. That's a lot of numbers for one person to play but fine for a group, if they can find someone willing to make out all those tickets. For comparison I have also picked 260 random numbers using a loop I wrote using GWBasic. It will be intereting to see if Lottocheatah has an advantage over random picked numbers. These are my picks: 01 | 03 | 22 | 29 | 33 + 41 01 | 03 | 30 | 34 | 36 + 02 01 | 0... [ More ]

ok yeah im going to throw down 200 beans for those picks. those picks really are as good as a quick pick unless you beat the odds and the drawwed numbers fall into those number and still you must beat the odds and match all 6 to win. 200 lines out of 80,000,000 is still INCREDIBLE ODDS against you. 200 of your lines have the same chance as 200 of my quick pick lines.
