I disagree. If you want lesser prizes play the smaller state only lotteries (if your state has one). The whole idea behind Mega Millions and Powerball is insanely large jackpots. Hence the insanely horrible odds of winning.Even the lowest prize is harder to win.

Danger Will Robinson ...sorry I had to get that out of my system...but I tend to agree with you. I used to play $10 to winn a $4 million prize. now I play $10-$20 to win a $10 to $100+ million prize...and so what if it only goes to $125 million on the next draw...and some of it goes down to the 2nd 3rd place winners....Here we have been playing mega millions for how many draws and the increases still haven't reached the cap....my, my, my but aren't we a greedy bunch

The Rock says to tell them jabroni's that they need to trash the new rules and think seriously about that $2 a bet for a double starting amount and bigger prizes or else they will get sunked by mega millions which The Rock is about to win. It does not matter with The Rock anymore because after he hit this huge mega millions jackpot he will officially retire from lottery post and spend his days helping the lest fortunate and on sunny beaches and is just thinking about all of jabroni's will never... It seems the benifits of the change surely outweigh the detriments.After all you have to win the jackpot to suffer from the change, yet winning a lesser prize, or not playing at all, you will reap the benifits. How many times have you won the jackpot vs. how many times have you not won the jackpot

I live in a Powerball state.. anyone else up for some complaining? Perhaps if MUSL gets enough letters from people they'll realize that their plan is flawed.I won't do it alone, but if I can rally up enough support I'll definitely take the time to write a letter and mail it in.
