I play Powerball and PA Cash 5. Either $10 and $10 for Powerball's 2 weekly drawings or if Cash 5 is above $200,000 I'll go $5 on Powerball and $5 on Cash 5 for one or both of the Cash 5 drawings that fall around the Powerball drawings. The past 2 weeks or so I was driving to OH to play Mega Millions where I was throwin' down $20 for both of the weekly drawings. But that was because of the insane jackpot

So far this year I am in the hole for $79 even though I have purchased ~$1800 worth of tickets. A 5 of 6 hit in Ohio lottery for $1500 helped keep my cost down. Since any winning over $500 is recorded by the State for tax purpose, I keep a record of my loses and I try to keep them under $500 for the year. I consider that money well spent for entertainment, which is a lot less than a Vegas vaction or what some of my friends spend for smokes. RJOh

I spend $4 a week on Powerball (now that it is finally in PA!) (1 ticket with the Power Play = $2, for Wed drawing and Sat drawing). I usually get a quick pick.Anytime the Cash 5 is $200,000 or higher. I buy 1 ticket if it is $200K or $250K. 2 tickets if $400K. 3 tickets for $600K, etc. So usually I spend $2 to $4 a week on Cash 5.Lately I have been playing the Daily Number also. Between $1 and $3 but I only play 2 times a week. All total I spend about $10.
