Ever since Powerball came to PA I have played every drawing. And I have ALWAYS played the Power Play. I just buy one ticket per drawing. So far I have had a $4 winner (multiplier was 1) and a $28 winner (multiplier was 4). The rest of the time I usually don't even get one number. But I'll tell you I was glad to have spent $2 to win $28 as opposed to $2 (for seperate tickets) and only win $7. I also agree with what CASH Only says. I make more sense to drop the Power Play if the jackpot gets up to... [ More ]

PowerPlay makes good sense with a relatively low PB jackpot like now. If you want to spend $2 for a $22 million PB ticket it's much better to buy a single combination with PowerPlay than two sets of numbers with PowerPlay. Of course, if the jackpot were $122 million, both dollars should be for separate combinations WITHOUT PowerPlay.

Does anyone here like Powerplay? Three of the $100,000 winners from last night's drawing Powered up their prize to $500,000!I've been playing PB since it came to PA on June 29th and I have yet to Power up with the Powerplay option. For me I'd rather spend those extra dollars on more plays or maybe plays on Cash 5 or sumthin'.
