Hi Fellow NJ players:I've been experimenting as my interest has been stirred in this. I did have a nice hit at my first go around. Then it hit me!! Of course this is not random!! if it were it would be allowed for a quick-pick, which is random. Hi BlueDot,No, I didn't try it with the pick 4 yet mostly because I don't regularly play the pick 4 (only occasionally). I have enough trouble figuring out the pick 3! Did you see the 914 come out tonight in NJ? I was playing that all last week but stopped yesterday and today. One day I will learn! Take care. Gingerlily

ToddI agree,15 tickets (45 numbers) and NOT hitting at least ONE 7! Doesn't sound very random to me.You're right,that was a very smart move with NJ lottery.Boy will they make lots of money off this new bonus match .Thanks for sharing that info with us Todd.BlueDot

Harry613I agree that this new bonus match is a rip off.In the beginning it sounded pretty interesting,but seeing how so many people are complaining about it and only winning small amounts,I don't think I like it anymore.But who knows,this is just the start of it,maybe in time we'll start seeing more and bigger winners!I sometimes vary in picking my own numbers and quick picks for all the lottery games I play.I've noticed in Virginia's mega millions,alot of people win The Big Money by using... Gingerlily: WTG That a girl. Maybe because girls are nice and guys are nasty! Maybe? Thats like eating at a resturant, they advertise fresh this and fresh that. Fresh to me is fresh that day, not days old fresh. Same with the lottery, they advertise random pick. Almost everybody knows you can almost program ANYTHING into the computer. Maybe? Yesterday I had a long talk with one of my lottery agents (New Jersey!) about the bonus play. He was mentioning about how people are standing at the lottery machine for up to 45 minutes trying to get a bonus match. He mentioned the same strategy that you did Harry: playing the same numbers.In one case, a customer played 7-7-7 something like 15 times in a row, never once getting a bonus match, even for $2. Blue Dot and Harry613, I tried it today for the first time on four sets of pick 3 numbers I was going to play anyway. I KNOW it was just sheer luck, but I did match a number with a $5.00 bonus win and then two tickets later got a $20.00 bonus win.I'll try it again but only with my normal picks - I'm not going to go crazy with it to try to figure it out .
