I'm hoping Michigan Millions rolls over. I think WINFALL will get a big jump out of the gate if the first 5 drawings are all WINFALL active .Good thing they are getting rid of MI Millions though. Saturday's drawing was for $25.7 Mil and it only went up 500K.Even PA's slow growing Super 6 would grow more than that if it got that high.

Getting back to WINFALL (just one week away), if Michigan Millions rolls over twice more, at least the first FIVE drawings of WINFALL potentially would add money to all three lower levels, if any of the initial WINFALL drawings don't produce a jackpot .

CASH,I agree with your assessment. Although I wounder if MUSL should really be limiting someone from winning too much . The whole reason MM and PB changed their odds was to have super huge jackpots. If one person like Jack Whittiker (sp?) is the only one to hit then so be it.Don't get me wrong though, I do like the idea of the Match 5 Bonus, I just think the cap should be a bit higher and that the jackpot doesn't need to break a record for it to be in play.

smd: I really think WINFALL will be a big hit. I hope neighboring Ohio, at least, converts its 6/49 to a WINFALL-type game. *As for the new rule in Powerball, maybe it's to avoid someone winning too much money; for WINFALL, because there's no need for a second mega-jackpot game in Michigan, and so that, on occasion, all winning tickets win more.

CASH,I guess that will partly depend on the success of Winfall.Do you know of any specific reason why they are starting to do capping other than allowing more money to flow down to the lower tiers

I wonder how many more jackpot games will cap jackpots or limit rollovers? (as opposed to games where all prize money is paid out after each draw, first prize or not

I agree....the game seems to be a waste of time. I mean the first draw gave players up to $12,000 now you are lucky to get $1,000. I like the Michigan Lottery but they are just offering to much games for us. They are overloading us that is why change play isn't doing to well and to the fact that only 6 winners are choosen every game. Only 6.

And that is what I am going to like playing! I mean big jackpots are cool and everything but I am the kind that would like to see 65 $1,000,000 prizes rather than one $65,000,000 winner. I like the idea that they are going to cap it off at 5 million and raise the lower tier prizes. We like to play when the jackpot is high but i mean wouldn't you like to get more than $2 for matching the mega ball when there is 52 different mega balls that can come out! One of there new rules is that once the powerball jackpot gets new record territory they cap the jackpot rollovers to $25 million and use the extra money to make the match 5 white ball prizes bigger. They say it would be a lot bigger too

Hey if the game rolls one more time it will be in record territory. I personally would like to see how this new $25 million cap would work and the extra prize money. Lets hope for lots of $100,000 winners but no jackpot winners. They sold over 50,000,000 tickets last wednesday so it might be hard. If they sell 70,000,000 tickets tonight there is still more than 50,000,000 possible combinations not included the more than one combo from the 70,000,000! SO NO JACKPOT WINNER TONIGHT PLEASE
