smd: I'm neutral on Pick-3/4 games. However, adding an instant win option to the PA 3/4 games won't solve the problem of what to do about Super-6. Had PA decided to sell Hot Lotto , PA could still test single-state games (WINFALL; a return to WILD CARD LOTTO, etc) for when Hot Lotto runs its course. BTW, Hot Lotto sales noticeably increased when PB exceeded $100 million.

OT: Why is PA dragging its heels on replacing Super-6 ?? CASH,The only reason I can think of, on why PA is dragging out the death of Super 6, is because of the Pick 6 Lotto in NJ. Ever since NJ joined Mega Millions their Pick 6 jackpot starts at $1 Mil and grows $500K every drawing (like Super 6 is now). Occasionally the NJ Pick... [ More ]

I know CASH Only doesn't agree with me, but I'd just kick myself (no matter what the jackpot size is) if I didn't have the Power Play ON and I hit 5 out of 6. Especially now that you are guaranteed to double your money.Although, you also might want to save some money f... [ More ]

I didn't win but as expected I matched the power ball for $3. I also matched 3 of 5 no PB for $7, so 42 chances will have costed me $32. That the cheapest shot I've ever had at a $200M jackpot, so I may try it again if I ever get the chance. I thought about doing the same thing with Megamillion, but 52 chances for $50 just don't sound as attractive. I'll probably run some simulations on lower jackpots and if I get lucky enough time, I may try it when the MM jackpot reaches $200M.

RJOh,When the pot is this big, if you have to money to do that I definitely agree with your plan. By buying the 42 powerballs you lower your odds of winning the jackpot to 2.9 Million. Alot better than 120 Million, especially since the pot is $216M/$117M Cash.

I bought 42 chances for the Powerball and it only going to cost $39. You see I bought combinations with all 42 powerballs on one of them so I know I will be in at least one of the nine groups of winning combinations which will pay at least $3.Good Luck Powerball playersRJOh
