It must be remembered that in lotto games where the lowest number (in Powerball-type games, both number sets) is 1 , odd numbers are slightly more likely to come out than even numbers. However, the chance of all odds vs all evens is noticeably higher.

When you think about it, when you ask the question 'have there ever been an occassion when all six numbers were even ', you are really asking 'have there ever been an occassion when all six numbers were in a group of 26 numbers'. With any group that large, you should find a few that are totally within those parameters. For example in MegaMillions with only 68 drawings: All even numbers: 12/06/02 04 08 30 36 52 + 48 10/22/02 16 20 26 36 48 + 32 08/06/02 02 06 38 40 50 +14 05... [ More ]
