Analyzing the lotto really doesn't do much good. Past numbers have no influence on future numbers. If you flip a coin 100 times you may determine that 50% of the time it's heads, and 50% of the time it's tails, but you will not be able to accurately predict the 101st flip.

I don't swear by Gail Howard's software/system but her strategies or techniques have been very useful to me and have helped me to analyze the lotto. I think all serious lotto enthusiasts should read Atwood's The Lottery Solution and GH's Lottery Master Guide . I just think that though they are different they are must reading.Greg

Has Gail Howard ever won a jackpot? I went to her website and it said she has been in business since 1982. Over 20 years and just 74 jackpot winners worldwide. There have been more winners using birthday dates, or the quickpick. Lottery systems just do not work. I don't mean to offend anyone, just expressing my opinion.

Her website also has some interesting information.Her other two books are mostly wheels BUT there are other chapters on general information as to how to play. Give her a call, maybe she would fax the table of contents to you so you could see. To Greg,I have a copy of Robert Serotic's book The Only Way to Win at Lotto and it's mostly a collections of 222 wheeling systems. He has a small section on other system such as dreams, numberology and astrology, but mostly he stresses using large wheeling systems as your best chance to win something. It should be noted that ever since the challenge, sedertree doesn't really post here as much as he used to.Having been here long enough to have remembered the VD/Sedertree challenge, I can tell you that VD won the challenge. The rules that were ammended were agreed upon by both people.It's not any different than when you are a kid and playing stickball and you don't clearly define the foul lines. Whenever I decided to purchase more than 1 Quick Pick, I always have the clerk print them on SEPERATE tickets. I've found that doing it that way helps reduce duplicate numbers (I'm talking about the same 2 or 3 numbers per line, which has happened to me when I don't play seperate tickets).As far as the lotteries purposely programming a computer to not pick a combination on a quick pick, I think that is ridiculous. Hello Greg,Consider the following. If you buy only 1 QP, you won't repeat a number. If you pick your own numbers in a 6/49 game, you can only pick 8 sets of numbers before you have to repeat 5 numbers(49/6=8) and if you look at the history of the drawings, there's seldom a time when you have more than 3 drawings when a number hasn't appeared more than once.
