Yep, you got me Cash, I live in Buffalo. As far as the Lotto 59 game, odds in the 5# game are much better for ALL the prizes in Lotto. The free quick pick for 2 of 5 in Take 5 dosen't cost the state of NY anything. They just give you a free chance at a quick pick. Give me the buck back, let me pick my numbers. At least it's Cash value for the top prize.

BfloTG: I think I figured out part of your name (Buffalo). The NY Take Five pays out MUCH BETTER than the Lotto 59. You know about the free quick pick for a 2-of-5 match.

The recent discussions concerning quick picks made me a bit courious to find some historical fact I might be able to comment on.Now bear with me my observations are limited to the Take 5 (5# draw game) in New York which is where I concentrate my efforts.I usually pick my own numbers to play, but will buy a Quick pick occasionally. Of a total of (62) Quick picks in this sample, (38) 61.3% had mixed numbers, (18) 29% had 2-consecutive #'s, and (6) 9.7% were with either two sets of 2-consecutive... [ More ]
