I think a Winfall-style game would work really well in NJ. Pick 6 sales continue to do pretty well even though jackpots are staying < $10 million. This leads me to think that a $5M-maximum prize would do fine, and I love the fact that players have such large lower-tier prizes when there's no winner.

Todd: Given the lack of big Pick-6 jackpots lately (last over $7 million in July) maybe NJ could consider a WINFALL-type game. Of course, if somebody hit Michigan WINFALL there would have been no $70 prizes for three numbers.

Went to 2 different stores and purchased 10 $1 easy pick. won on 1 ticket from each store. No $5 million dollar winner so money passed down to the 5-4-3 matched numbers. A 3 number match would be $5, but today it was $70. Over 15,000 3 number winners, over 900 got$1300 for 4 and 18 got $32,000 for 5 numbers. Jackpot tops out at 5 million BUT since noone won the Mi lotto old game from last Saturday, jacpot was almost 27 million, the next 7 or so drawings will be at 5 million. My thinking i... [ More ]
