Todd: I've corresponded with Dawn Nettles a number of times. She apperently is the TX Lottery's #1 critic. TX does not have the authority to join a multi-state game; until then, tweaking Lotto Texas is the only way to achieve bigger pots.

HI! :) Well, they have to do something. They changed from a 6/49 to a 6/54 lotto July 2000 and lotto sales have declined since then. Now that my database is a couple years old and getting a little more stable they probabally WILL change it again. I do hope we join MM tho, national games are more exciting to play.

www.lottoreport.com says Texas is expected to replace its 6/54 game with a 5/44 + 1/44 single-state Powerball-type game by late spring.
