Somehow, IMHO Powerball will always be more popular than MM. The choice of name probably has something to do with it. The PowerPlay option helps too.

CASH,If they are worried about the press trespassing the store, how come when the winners come forward they usually give them the check at the store where it was bough? It just doesn't make sense.

I want to play the Mega Millions, but I live in Nebraska, and the nearest MM state is Illinois. If the jackpot for MM reaches $350 million during Spring Break, and Powerball is less than $100 million then I would think it over. But if it ever reaches $500 million, then I'm driving my @$$ across the Mississippi.

CASH,That's incredible. Too bad you haven't been one of the lucky ones.It always annoyed me that PA doesn't release where winning tickets are sold. On the rare occasion that a jackpot prize hasn't been claimed they only announce a region . I don't see what the big deal is.

I live in Westchester County, NY. Each of the past two Mega Millions drawings has produced a 175k second prize sold at a Westchester Co lottery agent (2 Tuesday 2/4 and 1 last night 2/7).
