Sorry to read you have retracted your challenge. As you pointed out, using different systems and wagering amounts would be like comparing apples and oranges, but camparing a winning system with the other systems would be like comparing a diamond with apples and oranges. To cotti47Mr Whittaker(if I spelled it right) was the gentleman from West Virgina who owned several construction companies who won the MM lottery right after Christmas and took the cash which was over $100M. He stated he had bought $100 worth of QP tickets and with his winnings he planned to give 10% to his church and use some of his winnings to call some his laid-off workers back to work. First Challenge thought:If a 6/49 games would be played (probably one of the oldest lottery games around) the suggestion of 5 or 10 tickets would not be enough to see anything about a system.If you are trying to evaluate the quality of different systems, programs or other tools, that would require to pick a sample that would have some statistical significance. 25 to 100 tickets in a 5 or 10 draw run would be a reasonable sample. Since the odds of all 649 drawings are the same, why not permit everyone in the challenge to play any 649 lottery they normal play using the methods and numbers of lines they would normal play. Some players like to play regularly with a small amount and others like Mr Whittaker who won the last MM jackpot over $100M perfer to play a large amount when the jackpot is larger. When they had the street numbers years ago People had systems for the three digit numbers and it worked .that is what some of the old timers said and they did not have all the sophisticated stuff that they have now. altho they did not have four,five and six digit numbers, I believe everything has a system. I too have won more than I lost. I also have a lottery log. As far as writing a book on my system, I'm not quite sure. I have won quite a few times at 3/6 and 4/6. I picked 5/6 twice as well. All in NJ Pick 6. If anyone is really interested in sharing ideas about the jackpot style games, there are players posting their picks and ideas in the jackpot sections. As far as I'm know, no one has ever posted any numbers that won big and it will interesting to see if this challenge produce any different results. While there are those who claimed to have won big in the past, I not aware of them sharing their strategy with this forum.RJOh

Just went to my software program to check out-lotto south-noticed that there were only 158 drawings. From what I have read lottos should have 300-350 drawing for data to smooth out, any thoughts on that.

Last year, Lotto Cheatah who have tried to get people from this site to use his software participated in a similar challenge with a lottery news group and all they proved was that none of their systems were a winner. I agree with Lottowiz34 that systems are fine but they are only part of the strategy of the player.
