Hi Teufellj -Thank you for clarifying your post! An apology is not needed nor would I ask for a retraction of what you wrote, my friend. My prayers go out to you and your family as well as to all our troops and their families. Earlier today, I received disturbing news about one of my cousins being aboard the last of the downed choppers this past week and when I came across the comments, it just set me off. Teufellj -Did you address this to me for a reason? I agree with you, Saddam is a mad man and needs to be stopped. In my above post, I agreed with emilyg that we need to stop protesting and start supporting our troops. SUSAN,I stand with Jazzy and Harry! Most ladies were not in any kind of combat or dmz. Those that were in 'NAM (were mostly in MASH units) saw some very terrible things that happened to soldiers on all sides as well as civilians because their leader had his personal goal, himself. I had the pleasure of visiting Hanoi Hilton. My group hit what is known as Parrots Beak where the Vietnamese hid in Cambodia with the local tribes were used as shields. Amen Jazzy!As a V.N. Vet my self, I've seen and been in the worst but this also makes me cringe. If they would just get their heads out of their a-- and realize this madman Saddam could wipe out the world with chemicals which you can almost not fight against. This land of the free would become the land of the dead! The Pres. is doing a great job. I would rather have him at the helm the Clinton. That scarres me.
