The best the posted 300 numbers could do is to match 3 five time. I played the first 20 which included one of those match 3's, so I get a free play which I don't consider a prize. No one won the jackpot, so I may try again this Saturday using some refined perameters.Good luck OhioplayersRJOh

RJ:A number of states (eg Kentucky, NY) now have an instant win feature to their Pick-3/4 games. The NY version, optional, where you pay an extra $1, prints 3 or 4 NON-RANDOM digits; you compare them with the number you bought for the actual drawing. You win up to $500 if any of the digits match ON the ticket (the second 3- or 4-digit number is _not_ for the drawing) in the same position.Sorry if this is a bit confusing.

Lotteries in most states were started to take advantage of the monies that were going to private casino gambling. If anything, they have failed to stay competitive when they tried to increase their profit. Pick3 games which has not change their basic format have continued to attract a constant number of players over the years.RJOh

What ever Ohio decide to do, the payout will be less for every dollar taken in. When Ohio lottery first started, it had better odds, better payout and larger jackpots. Each improvement has meant worst odds, smaller prize amounts and smaller jackpots. There is no reason to think that this trend will change. Each year that the state dosn't show an increase in profit is reported as a lost.RJOh

RJ:Only six months ago, a $29 million Ohio 6/49 jackpot would have had a cash value of about $1.75 million LESS because of the low-balling of cash winners (44% cash value then). The format of Kicker has nothing to do with Lotto 6/49, so, theoretically, it should be a stand-alone game if Ohio wants to continue it. A _much_better_ idea is the multiplier that would be the same as the PowerPlay option in Powerball. The Michigan Winfall game may have peaked already, since the first few draw... [ More ]

You can add to the fact that the jackpot is $29M that the cash value is more than the odds of winning the jackpot with a dollar. The odds of winning is 1:14M and the cash value is $14.5M. This is the point where players and lottery pools that prefer to spend a hundred dollars or more will buy a few tickets. I will be surprised if the jackpot is not won within the next two draws.Ohio wants to change the game so it can attract more players without offering a large jackpot, maybe put a $5M cap... [ More ]
