New York draws twice a day. Sometimes I may play both but few numbers because it's to costly to play a lot of numbers in both drawings. It seems that if I only play the evening drawing my numbers come out mid-day or if I play just mid-day my numbers come out in the evening, this is quite flustrating. If they have drawings too frequently, people won't have time to play. In addition, there are only so many dollars available from players. They will either stick to their regular drawing schedule or average their budget between all drawings. There is usually little plus revenue. This is basic advertising knowledge. The gaming pie is only so big. They just shift it around.Orangeman

Oregon's pick-4 is drawn 4x/day (although I believe their game is played differently than other pick-4s). There are even a couple of states that now draw their pick-FIVES twice daily

we all have done it played the evening draw and our number comes up in the miday draw. or mybe the other way around. I would love to see the lottery go back to just 1-draw, but as we know their out for the Bucks too.
