Lottoscorp,I have no trouble selecting 20 numbers. It's putting them into two groups of 10 that's difficult. But I've been steadily studying and analyzing the NY Keno game and learned some real interesting things about it. The only way I can play is to have my friend who works in NYC get the ticket and play for me (since I live in PA). But I'm not gonna do that until I start winning on my own (=play for free). To Greg,I was checking my copy of Lotto Pro and its has this game included in its data base, so the same tools that are used to analize all the other games are available for this game too. Its have over 2000 records in the file and I haven't updated all the state lotteries in a while, with my moden, it takes about seven minutes to download all the U.S. lotteries, so I just download the ones that I use. Greg:Personally, I don't spend much on NY tickets these days because the NY Lottery is too bureaucratic. However, if you're in NY and want to play on-line games, I would recommend Pick-10 (even though almost nobody plays it), Quick Draw (if the proprietor hasn't shut off the lottery machine in protest of the near-total NY state smoking ban) and Take Five.

Greg:IMO Pick-10 is a better game than Super-6. However, the MOST APPROPRIATE replacement for Super-6 is another JACKPOT game, though on a smaller scale than Super-6.As for lengthening the jackpot odds, it hasn't hurt Powerball (although it probably has made MM a less popular game). If MUSL is to get PA to join Hot Lotto (which of course I still would like to see), MUSL most likely would need to make the game have more jackpot potential, due to PA's large population.

Thanks for your replies.I am not in favor of increasing Hot Lotto's number field or that of any other game because it increases the odds and hurts players.However, I would prefer PA to do the Pick 10 (Keno)that NY has. Pick 10 pays out MUCH BETTER than Lotto; also, unlike Lotto/MM you don't have to worry about receiving annuity payments.

Pick 10 is a very difficult game to win. You usally end up with more than 0 and not as many as 6. Do not use software for this game. Just look at the past draws. Pick about 5, half, of the numbers that were already drawn in the past 5 draws add 5 numbers of your own.You should have some luck doing this!Dollie

smd:A state (OK commonwealth) with the population of PA easily supports two jackpot games. KENO would be a good idea for PA _after_ they replace Super-6.The only jackpot winner in Michigan Winfall so far chose annuity (AFTER claiming). That certainly hurt promoting the new Michigan game.Hot Lotto easily could add a few balls on the top (5/45 + 1/19?) if PA joins (without changing the lower prizes).

CASH,While Super 7 was a cool idea, I doubt a remade 6 of 9 of 80 would play well in PA at this point.I think it is likely that when PA gets rid of Super 6, that Greg's idea of a Keno style game (either drawn daily or drawn every 4-5 minutes), would be one of the options Gov. Greg:Very few play Pick 10 (Quick Draw makes it redundant).I wouldn't mind a 6-number version of the old Super-7 game replace the Super-6 - perhaps you pick 6 of 80 numbers, and the PA Lottery draws 9; for the jackpot, your 6 numbers would match 6 of the 9 numbers drawn. Super-7 was annuity-only; a new version would need a cash option (preferably where you choose after yow win).
