There is the problem....since mega millions started back in 2002 there have been over 770 (5 ball winners). there have only been 16 jackpot winners....The powerball becomes the hardest pick of the draw.

If you have reduced the 2,869,685 possible combinations to 40,000 which contain the winning 5 numbers, then similar logic would reduce the bonus ball down to one. Sounds like you on your way to picking a winner. Post some predictions. Good luck to you.RJOh

Hello,I have designed a Data Warehouse for predicting the powerball numbers. In general, probabilities are used for limiting the combinations of the first 5 numbers. I can break down the winning first 5 powerball numbers from 600,000 to 20,000-40,000 combinations for each drawing and getting closer each time.I am in need of a good solution of determining the winning powerball number. And any tips you may have for different approaches to predicting the powerball...

I agree also...its not much fun setting out to win the lottery by having a machine pick your numbers.... that's for people that jump on the band wagon when the jackpot gets up there....I dont think there is a real system that can pick a winner...i think that the more parameters and breakdowns you have, the closer you'll get to eliminating bad number combos..its the challenge of putting yourself in the right place at the right time when you pick your numbers...

Systems work as good as QP's or any other methods that a player use to choose his lottery numbers, the odds are the same for all. Systems allow the player to control the numbers he picks within the parameters he prefer. I don't like to play combinations that have matched 4 or combinations of threes more than twice and I like to play numbers that fall within parameters (ranges, sums, gaps, positions and etc) of numbers that have been drawn in the past. My system is a RNG(random number generator) w... [ More ]
