For me it's mainly time and that's what a lotto prize would give. As long as I have enough funds to get by, having the time to just enjoy the simple things in life is all that I would ask from the lottery. The time for a long walk, a bike ride, just working in the garden...a little jackpot win would certainly be nice to allow me the time to live a quiet life. That's all I would ask for, the time for a simple and quiet life.

Certainly money makes things a bit easier. I dont think anyone can argue against that. But having money and keeping it requires a lot of work and time. I sure wouldn't mind work ...rofl.I agree that a certain part of winning is the lure of the gambler, which seems to be a nasty lil gene in everyone, down to the kids that buy a 50 cent raffle ticket at a soccer game. The Dream is the other part of why we play lotteries.

Actually, having the time free from being compelled to work for a living is implied by having the money.I would keep my part-time job and use the remaining time to record and promote my music, work on other projects, and donate to places like Covenant House and PFLAG, including to people who you read about who got screwed royally. People play Pick3 and the biggest prize is $500 per winning ticket. No one can seriously expect $500 to change their lives or give them more free time, so for those players it has to be winning. People like to gamble and win, even if it just a couple of bucks on a local game. Lotteries allow all us gamblers to gamble within our budget.RJOh

Winning a big jackpot would certainly give you both ,but which is more important to you? I would have to say time... Just think of how much of your lifetime is spent away from your home and family doing jobs you don't like because you need the money.
