Just read that Texas will join Megamillions by late fall...how long before the format changes again

If Texas were to join that would add a few million people to pick numbers. would there be more 10 million dollar winners....how high would the jackpot grow if a few more million choices were made every tuesday and friday

In Megamillions for the month of july there was only one jackpot winner from New York for 34 million. There were 39 winners of the $175,000 prize in the month. New York (9), Mass (6), Ill (5), Virg (5), Oh (4), Mich (4), Georgia (3), N.J. (2), Wash (1).
