to all who answerd/ I thank u.appreciated all input. finally got it working with a fix from bryan and a patch from little old lady, but not out of the wood s yet.todd: I have changed the sec/ priv set to higher/ I will reset to default/next againthanks. your our mother hen. watching over us.it makes me glad I AM a member on lp:thanks again.

Try dumping your temp. files. It may be full and that causes things to slow up a bit to.Libra Dave

One more thing I forgot to mention: check to be sure that you are set to the default levels on both the Security and Privacy tabs. Tools menu, Internet Options..., then click the Default button on both the Security and Privacy tabs.Since it's a link that is not going through, it seems like you're having some software on your PC blocking you from linking to a new window. TODD . yes I am in lottery post. but when someone gives site to see on their posts. like read this bbok. or check this out. when I click on it,hourglass and freeze again. same think happens in my emails when get a www to click on to see it hourglass freez thx again.little old lady: so glad urs got fixed,I will retry the www.link fix.exe from Bryan. I did not turn off viris first maybe that will work.thanks.

If you have the windows 98 patch, install it again...check for viruses..first. if you have an anti virus protection, turn it off, then install the patch.

Maybe it's not your PC, maybe it has something to do with the particular site you're trying to go to, since you seem to be able to go use Lottery Post OK. Are you sure the site you're try to go to is up

You can always reset all of your IE settings by going to Internet Options... (in the Tools menu), select the Advanced tab, and then click Restore Defaults.After you've done that, go to the General tab, and click Clear History, then Click Delete Files.Then, close any and all your IE windows that you have open, and try again.

no not useing any ad blocking nothing at all todd/ I keep thinking maybe some of my options like enable /disable have checked or cleard boxes. but don't know how to get to view what I have. and maybe make any edit any changes. in the course of trying to fix I have been places not knowing how I got there. and might have clicked on or off something.

Hello everybody. been trying to fix my pc.need to know if anyone has had the same trouble and maybe has a fix??? I cannot click on any link in any posts and get it. my click produces the hourglass/ and then seems to freeze, stays that way.I have to click it off or press the ctrl/alt/delete buttons to move on..Have tried bryan s fixes but still dont work/ he sure has tried to help too/and sure have appreciated all his input. however all this staretd when I upgraded to exp 6 so I went back to...
