FYI, to all those who didn't see your reviews posted on Alexa:If you receive a very simple Thank You in the middle of your screen after you click the button to post the review, it did not go through. hypersoniq, that was a good explanation. I believe it is the popup-blocking option that causes it to fail. I use Zone Alarm, but I don't need to disable it for Alexa because I use a different software package for my popup blocking.Popup blockers like Zone Alarm add a piece of JavaScript code to every Web page as they are received by your computer. I don't know if zone alarm has an option that lets you approve or deny individual connections as they happen... I haven't used zone alarm in a long time... I have norton personal firewall ever since going with the cablemodem... but when I went to alexa my first e-mail didn't arrive. I re-submitted it and set the firewall to warn , which gave me the option of yes/no for each port it wanted to open... after that it went right through.Didn't zone alarm allow you to set access by application? you c... Lucky found that disabling ZoneAlarm was the only he could submit. That was probably due to popup blocking software that was disabling some JavaScript commands. If you have any popup blockers or firewall software try disabling that before going to Alexa and submitting.

I get on to the Alexa homepage, and it tells me only Microsoft Windows and Internet 5.0 or newer are supported by Alexa. I have XP and also Internet Explorer. I'll try it from home and see what happens.I'll let you know if I figure it out.Thanks for responding. Jorli

I enjoyed your note - what happens after you submit the review? (Do you get any particular messages? Did you receive the confirmation e-mail?)Also, if you use AOL, you may have to disable a spam setting to let the Alexa e-mail through.

It's not easy being me. I have tried to use the Alexa site and just can't vote. I disabled my ZoneAlarm and still was unable to get the site to work for me. Could it be true what they've always said about us blondes? Is there no hope for me to learn basic functions of a website?My mother has been kind enough to reassure me of how smart I am.
