Wouldn't be able to spend all that money in my lifetime? You haven't seen some of the houses I have posted here in the past. It really is easy to spend money. MC Hammer comes to mind. He, as well as many mega stars, had countless millions during the height of their fame, but spent it all and had to declare bankruptcy. Speaking of MC Hammer, he is a Celebrity, all Celebrities tend to spend more money than they gain. I heard once that Rappers always spend $25,000 grand in one night alone on wine a... [ More ]

It seems that there are people who want a $300-400 million jackpot. Personally, I'll take the lowest jackpot they offer and even split it with someone, and I'll still end up with many times the money I have now. But when you say you want a $300 million jackpot you are also saying this: I want to buy a ticket week after week after week but I don't want to win the jackpot. I want to give my $1 away to make the game more fun. If your goal is to win big, fine, that's a good goal - but why toss y... [ More ]

well mega sold their game to washington (and im sure texas) to have large 300 million jackpots which they have never produced. also you only really win about 25-30% of the prize since you only win 50% or so and then only whats left after a min of 35% + local income tax so a 200mil prize is only 50 million in many states with an income tax. even with texas generating more sales the prizes will actually decrease since thats what happed to powerball exept powerball corrected their problem by having... [ More ]

The only reason to change the matrix is if the play handle at the lower jackpots covers more than 60% of the spread. Currently that is not the case, and will not be the case even when Texas begins selling near the end of October. However, it will be the case once another state (hellooooooooooo TN). When that happens, look for an increase in the pick-5 section, not the mega ball. Also, don't be fooled, dvdiva, the reason that PB jackpots seem to rise faster is that they pay out on a 30 year annu... [ More ]
