I hope he'll be able to overcome all the obstacles that will be thrown in front of him by those who want him to fail. What a great time for your first vote!

Funny, and kind of excting to look that stuff up....Okay, next lesson, Todd....In linguistics there is no Austrian Dialect but a Bavarian or Bavarian-Austrian Dialect, that is spoken in Southern Germany (apparently in Bavaria), even in parts of the Czech Republic, Hungary and Tyrol in North Italy. So to say that 'people in Austria speak with a different dialect than those in Germany would be incorrect. According to http://www.ethnologue.com/show_country.asp?name=Austria 98% of the population... [ More ]

This was the very first time I ever voted. Have been registered for years. It was enough for me to get Davis out of office. Now we will see what the man can do. And all the Californians who put Arnold in office will see if they were right or wrong. California has been a big joke for quite a while. So this will be something different. But look at the people we had to pick from. lolThank you , Todd.

Hmmm.....German lesson 1: German and dialects....all areas in Germany, Austria, and German-speaking part of Switzerland have different dialects. They change slightly every 10 miles from the north to the south and the east to the west.Arnold was born in Graz, which is located in the Steiermark, an Austrian Province, so he is probably capable of speaking the Steirisch Dialect when in the Steiermark, he is also able to speak the Austrian Official High German.Good Luck
