Program updated with new templates for Buckeye5 and OhioSuperLotto cards and the patterns are still just as random. It's interesting the Ohio changed its cards to 5 boards from 10 boards, it was the only state that I've played in lately that had that many boards per card.RJOh

DreamLotto,I named my program 'loto' (my program-my name). I wrote it years ago in GWBasic and have revised it as the games changed. I've never updated it to a newer language because I've never taken the time to learn one and it works fine in a DOS or Command window in Windows. Hi All,What if the bet slip layouts are DIFFERENT; if the number range is SAME, then how about creating our OWN layout for pattern anylysis purposes.This way I guess it should be a lot easier to analyze SAME type of lotteries played in different states and something really interesting should emerge...For example, friends, and relatives, and lotto betting experts in different states can discuss ideas about a particular lotto using the SAME layout, after SHARING IT!If you play in groups/syndicates... i didnt know the slips were different in different states like that - oregon is a 9x6 for powerball as well so its probably the same as indiana and mega in wa. state is also a 9x6 format as well so the mega for wa. state slips would be different than ohio's

My loto program has a card layout for all four lotteries that I play which I use when I add or edit a record in a file. I also use those layouts when I fill out my cards so I can spot a mistake if a card looks different than the layout. I've checked the patterns of pass winners and there is no common pattern. I use the card layout to restrict the amount of numbers to be picked from a minimum of 0 to a max of 2 per row or column.I use this in the constraints section of Nicks LottoDesignerXL.

The bad thing about bet slip Geometrical Draw Patterns is that a lot of people do it. If you win a big jackpot, be prepared to share it with a lot of people.
