You want to employ a strategy that adjusts as the game moves forward, that lowers your odds in some of the drawings and captures all the winning numbers among those you are wheeling often enough to be interesting. For example, I'm playing the longest out numbers for the Florida Fantasy 5/36. Tonight all five winning numbers were among the twenty longest out. Naturally I played the fifteen longest out and had only three of the winning numbers among my fifteen, but did win a 2# free play. If only... [ More ]

I once played my brother and my birthdate for a few draws in Ohio649 and won $100 when I matched 4. My brother was born the wrong year and month or else we would have been millionaires. I got to thinking that is I dropped the 42, I could play the rest of the combination in our Buckeye5/37. I made out the card and checked to see if that combination had ever hit and it had just matched 5 the previous week. If I had gotten the idea a week earlier I would have won a $100K. How many times ha... [ More ]

Irvin:I did a lot of tests on that one. If you always play the same set of numbers, you are going to lose about the same amount of money as when you change your set for every draw. There is however on thing I found to be true (at least for the Belgian lotto). If you check the past results (200 to 400 or so) and you look for the 4 number combination that came out most, then combine them with the numbers that most appeared 1 draw before that 4number combination or after. You have a set of numbers

thats why i always play the same set until someone wins. imagine if you had the winning numbers and you didnt play them because they didnt look right for that drawing.the worst story i heard on that was when the wa. state lottery was at 19 million a woman bought her quick pick ticket at 6:56 pm and it was the winning combination for that drawing - only later to realize that the ticket was for the next drawing because the tickets switched to the next drawing 15 minutes before the draw. now no t... [ More ]
