The whole purpose of a simple gif image like that is it should load instantly, only they've got 32 different colors in that thing using up 47.6k where they could easily reduce it to a 16 or even 5 color pallet in half the k. Heck, it isn't even animated, just bloated download time wise, but should still load faster then the Georgia lotto site. BobP

it is okay...as long as it helps generate that money..I wonder if they paid the person who made that logo? If they had paid as much as they did for Rebecca..well you can see my point.

Like others have said, if this was the best of the bunch, I would hate to see the others. Personally, I thought the one that Todd was using here on the site which said Tennessee Lottery with the ball bouncing out the words looked very professional and was just fine. Someone should have entered that one.

Here's the new logo released yesterday, apparently chosen from something like a hundred different designs:

My personal feeling is that, well, I hate it.

First, I don't like the term Lottery Tennessee . It sounds backwards - Tennessee Lottery sounds much better to me.

Second, the T stuck to the bottom of the cube with the stars shooting out doesn't do it for me.
