Kathy108 there are many foundations like Whittaker's. The Gates foundation, Ford foundation, if you do a goggle search you'll find them they all use the same standard form almost. You could write one form to send along with their form. There are some places that help you write the form so it would work in your best interest. These big foundations will never ask you to part with your possessions as it is a tax write off for them.

I was stupid and wrote to Mr. Whittaker's Foundation. My family is from West Virginia, I have MS and needed help. Lets not forget guys. That $475,000 wasn't all in cash. There was $175,000 in cash and the other $300,000 was in 3 $100,000 blank cashiers checks. The blank cashiers checks were for the casinos he was planning on going too.
