hypersonig,That was in interesting story about the lottery fix. Ohio, and I assume other states also, has in place a system which stops accepting certain sets of numbers after they have been bet over a certain percent of the total bets. This has only been done during holidays or anniversaries when certain numbers are likely to be played more, but I would think if the same thing happens when there were no way to explain it, there would be an investigation. they made a movie about my state's lottery commission... Lucky Numbers (John Travolta Lisa Kudrow).The movie was inspired by an actual drawing of the Pennsylvania lottery on 4/24/1980 when the number was 6-6-6, and could only have been a combination of 4's or 6's because they weighed all of the other balls down by injecting them with white latex paint... I really don't believe that the Draw Machines are fixed because the drawings are conducted live, yes they do preliminary or test draws before the actual draw but that's done to check for any possible changes,imperfections or whatever there strict guidelines require for the machine and balls.I don't see how they could select a combination with the lowest payout without tampering with the balls which is ILLEGALand if the drawing is done live whatever combination is drawn they have to pay on it to... I have been to lv and some indian resv/ where they have slot machinesare these fixed also so you cant win the higher money??they are on a video. screen

Our state uses lottery machines, tto, however, I really believe that they pick the combination with the lowest possible payout. Even with machines, they get 3 pulls before the actual drawing..
