fja:Do you consider a ball to be hot because it hit 3 or 4 times in a month? Do you play that # then?I always considered a # to be a HOT number only if it has hit more than five times in the last ten games, or hit twice in a row, or hit then skip then hit again. And usually, if a number hits that hasn't hit in ten or fifthteen games, most generally it will get hot most of the time, not always though. There is a % to look at though.Just curious,Chief

RJOH: We are allfor that perfect idea searching I understand fully what you do, and there is certainly nothing wrong with going back that far with the past drawings. I myself, on occasion go back and check drawings 50 or so drawings back just to see if a certain number is still acting the same now as it did back then. Meaning is it still hitting after or before a certain number, etc.Thank you for you thought's.Chief

I was checking my MegaMillions file and only one number have ever hit 5 times in the previous 10 drawings and that was 20 on 06/13/03. I consider a number active if it is hitting twice or more it's normal pace, for example if a number hits normally every 10 draws and it hits twice or more in the last 10 draws then it is active. Chief,What you said makes sense, so I put a feature in my program with a loop that would check any amount of previous drawings back to the last drawing plus the amount to be checked. Since I have 161 drawings in my MegaMillions file, I checked the previous 10 drawings for the last 151 drawings and this is what I got. A / N , A=appeared in previous 10 drawings, N=number of numbers 0 / 275 1 / 293 2 / 138 3 / 42 4 / 6 5 / 1As you can see,there were only 7 times that a numbers

Out of the five white balls, only three were repeaters from the november draws, the number 26 was the only number that hit 3 times this month.Congrats to rjoh lucky,see you guys on Monday or Tuesday
