What are u doing? Click on the my computer icon on your desktop, pick c drive...go to programs (folder) and see if it is in there. If not just scroll through your c drive.

oh ok I got win 98I did save it to disk said it went in c but I cant find it do u think I did it wrong? maybe I should redo it. cant find it in c either/ does it put ICON ON DT??thx again

No..no..when you save it..the box comes up to ask you if you want to save or do you want to open ..you pick save.... what operating system do u have? Do u have windows 2000 xp?, windows 98?, or what? You may not have downloaded correctly..it does NOT look like notepad.

litttle old lady:went to ssite/got download/went to c then I went to find it to see it paage there in gray.but no grids ect/??it seems like note pad ?? anyway can open to use thx again

go to: http://www.office.microsoft.com/search/ When u get here, type excel viewer in the search box...when u get to the page of downloads, just pick the one for you particular windows edition that you are running on your pc. when the gray box comes up, click save as.(put it in the program files)...be sure to put .exe on the end if it is not there. and it will download..then if you want to open it, click open.
