Hypersoniq, I track the changes in both pos/neg charts, as well as a composite tally where all #s are positive. as expected, the lower #s hit more frequently. {MegaMillions} I could post some stats if anybody is interested. LMK

Just to comment, Gail Howards sw has deltas on chart L. She calls them gaps. Also, her #s are off by one compared to how we're discussing them now. It actually counts the #s between the 2 winning #s. Thus, if winning #s are 01-12-15-18-42-44, the gaps are: 10-02-02-23-01. This system is similar to tracking skips or positional differences. Noting when a double or triple hit of a specific gap is due is remarkably helpful. Also note the breakdown into traditional *Hot, Average, Cold* parts. That... [ More ]

I think the 25 is right in my example. I used to many number for Cash 5.I actually used Pennsylvania Cash 5 results from 12/6/2003 4 9 12 14 39Gaps are 5 3 2 25. There kind of extreme. Just a bad example.Sorry for any confusion.wsls

lottoking...Deltas within the same draws are also known as the gap say the draw was 10-19-26-28-36 in a 5/39 game...Delta (or change ) would be calculated between two numbers as such10-19 combo... = 19-10 = 919-26 combo... = 26-19 = 726-28 combo... = 28-26 = 228-36 combo... = 36-28 = 8your resultant delta is 9 - 7 - 2 - 8If you have 5 numbers, you will have four gaps (i don't know where the 25 is coming from in WSLS's example), if you have a pick 6, you will have 5 gaps (or delta numbers )doe... The way I understand Delta is in agreement with WSLS.I track these for the powerball, draw to draw and also number to number (Sorted, a.k.a. the gap )... the end results are just as random as the drawing data.

emilyg,I may be wrong but delta numbers are the difference between the 2 numbers drawn.For example: Cash 5/39 4 9 12 14 39 so the delta numbers would be 4 5 3 2 25.Once you get a nice history of these Delta numbers hopefully you can get an idea of what the next drawing might be.You would probably need a good software package that incorporates deltas. I have never used deltas. I think Gail Howards software does have a report using deltas. Again, I may be wrong. wsls
