I have come across an almost identical advert to the one posted in a National newspaper here in the UK. This one is based out of the Netherlands but asks all the same questions. I agree that it does sound like a scam...only they don't ask for money (apparently it is completely free) which is unusual.

There has been alot of lottery scam going on. People are getting letters in the mail they won the lottery and to send money so you can get your money. Also I read where foreigns where outside a Wal-Mart and stopped a 76 year old man and said they where on the phone with thier lawyer about their winnings. They could not cash the ticket because they are not a citizen so could he go to the bank and get them part of the money and he could have the winning ticket and claim it. The 76 year old man we... [ More ]

Anything like this is a total scam. Do not ever, for one minute, believe that anyone can promise you a win.People who put this out are trying to separate gullible people from their money. It is probably quite lucrative. I hope Lottery Post members are street-smart enough to avoid this stuff like the plague.

I've gotten similar forms from loan companies trying to convince me to refinance my debt with them, but they don't care if you are a lottery player or not as long you can afford to send in monthly payments. This group probably figure lottery players are making monthly payments to state and getting nothing, might as well make them to their center and get nothing, the $250,000.00 is just to get the attention of the gullible.
