			<description><![CDATA[<p>MM may be benefitting from some big state lottery jackpots (and vice versa) in some of it&#x27;s states.  New Jersey, New York, Ohio, and Texas all have lotteries over $19 million - people are probably buying tickets for both their state lotteries and MM in those states.  The only high one in PB is Oregon and it&#x27;s at $14 million. If you check out the rollovers in 2000 and 2001, they are considerably higher when the jackpot got above $100,000,000 (even when lower).  But in 2002, 2003, the rollovers were not as high when the jackpot was above $100,000,000.  If I have a better job where I&#x27;m making more money, sure I would like to buy a couple of extra tickets to try to increase my chances of winning. The new MegaMillions state of Texas has been carrying a large jackpot that was recently won, $70,000,000.
