this was a good thread to read being I am a avid quick pic fan , I only play one set of numbers the same ( florida lotto that me and my wife picked), I believe in quick pics some what over using the hot/cold data, wheeling or stats for the fact that anyone on any given lottery draw can win. given that you play of course.

depending on the numbers you pick...you could have the numbers of draw number 1,500,000 or draw number 175....dventually somebody wins! if you play the same numbers there will be times when you will hit a small streak and there will be times when you think you do have the numbers for draw number 1,500,000....its just one of those things where,,,if its coming your way, you'll get it

The odds on Mega Millions are 135 Million to 1. There are 104 drawings every year. That means each combination has a chance of being drawn once every 1,298,070 years!!!!!! If you play the same five sets of numbers repeatedly every drawing you can expect to hit the winning numbers once every 259,610 years!!!!! Depends on the effort you want to put into playing lottery. There is nothing wrong with selecting a group of numbers that have been important in your lives and playing that combination(s) using advanced play for months at a time coming back to see if you won anything and buying the next subscription.There is nothing wrong with making the tickets with an eye to balance avoiding any extremes of all odd or all low or all high or all even numbers, that kind of thing. Actually, of all the 2,598,960 possible combinations, the sum average is 132.5. 31,174 different combinations will add to 132, 31,174 combinations will add to 133 - they're at the top of the bell curve.

I agree with hypersoniq, I also play 1 quick-pick and 1 my-pick for every Powerball draw up to 100M. When the prize reaches 100M and above, I add three more my-pics and 2 more quick-picks (one additional playcard with three of my own numbers and two addnl. qps) playing a total of seven sets per draw. If the jackpot should happen to reach 200M or above, I add 5 more quick-picks playing a total of 12 sets per draw.

If you are playing mega millions you better stick with your own numbers. There is a pattern in this game (even though not clear) that the sum of your first five numbers is in average 132.7. This tends to repeat approximatly every five drawings. For examle on january 16 i predict that this will happen. What you said above about some numbers being greatter then 25 and some smaller is true. But the results show that numbers from 10 to 19 and specially from 40 to 49 are particulary luckier. Numbers

I think a blend of BOTH would do. I play 1 Quick Pick and 1 My Pick for the powerball for every draw.
