The Blue Knight is doing much better than one could do picking by hand.So for those of us sittin on the side lines and saying it didn't do much for a test it only picked 3 numbers.BIG DEALThink of how many times you picked 3 numbers correctly on the same line if ever without the computer picking.Food for thoughtKeep up the great testing Mike Kgot a job opening for another lottery buff?Webmaster LeRoy

Mass Millions with a jackpot of $45.5M and OhioSuperLottoPlus with a jackpot of $21M are two 649 games with jackpot close to or better than the winning odds. Ohio doesn't play $3 for a match 3 like Washington, but a match 4 plays $100 and a match 5 plays $1500, so there are 649 games with decent jackpot amounts. I plan to play Ohio649 this Saturday, I played last night and got a free QP(a match 3) with 15 lines. Had I played all 50 lines I had picked I would have gotten some cash, but hind si... [ More ]

The situation of testing Jackpot games is - of course - different than the testing of PICK 3 games where the ratio of played selection to total number of selections it way lower.Playing or displaying 20 numbers in PICK 3: Your Straight chances 1:50Offering 252 numbers in PICK 6/49 : Your chances are about 1:55,491.What does that mean? You have to look at more than one test. And that's what I would like to do.So apparently the next tries will show how it is doing and whether improving previous dr... [ More ]

So basically the results are no better than what one would expect from random chance. In 252 lines, one would expect to match 3 approximately 5 times. Big wow.

dvdiva,I assume MikeK was running a test of Blue Knight Challenger 6 and the jackpot size was not important. It did match 3 five times. The odds of matching 3 or better is 1:54 so this does give you an idea how this system works with 252 lines. This system picked 34 numbers of the 49 to play and two of the winning numbers weren't in the mix, so if all six numbers had been in the mix, who knows it might have done better.RJOh
