Yes you can get 16 draws in NJ. It is easier now with 16 draws. I know other states have longer draws.

I don't know if this is the right space, but there was a question in this morning's Answer Line column in the Paper. Person wrote in and noticed that hardly anyone takes the annuity if available. Good reasons for that. Money now...pay Fed income Taxes now. (state and local exempt in Pa.) Go buy new house, new car, etc. etc. now.... invest the rest at better rate than what the state will pay out. Live off the interest, without touching the original principle. Down side. Yes I have been to AC but I have never won there so I do not go there much. It is a two and half hour drive for me to there. Delaware is closer for me. WV I have friend there so I go for a visit and sometimes a show.

I drive an hour to NJ for MM tickets for a group. I go once a month which is not bad!! I do play in WV when I visit the casino there.I need to make a trip there soon for the casino because I do well at the casino. I also visit Delaware for the horse races and a little casino there.Once a gambler always a gambler.

Speaking of driving for tickets, I wonder what happened to the sales in Delaware when Pennsylvannia signed on to Powerball? I'm betting that South Carolina would hate it if North Carolina started a lottery.

I try to play mm,pb, fl.......currently I have all three but, I live in Alabama so Florida Tickets are about 1hr 20min round trip and pb tickets are about 4hr round trip, I only get mm when I go out of town to work, but I advance play the tickets to the max in whatever state I'm in. Played online a few times with a little trepidation, when the jackpots get really big I like to have the ticket in my hand, not relying on somebody I don't know.

I have to travel 45 min. to get to Virginia to play. N.C. doesn't have a lottery. That's why our roads are terrible.

I do the same. On'y when visiting, but now since we have powerball in Pa, I don't even play out of state. I do however get scratch tickets, and cash in the winners (if any) when I leave. Of course, the other state, probably most visisted is Delaware where my friends and I go to play the Video lottery, which is the Politically Correct term for Slot Machines operated by the State Lottery. There's lots of people here who do that.For me, the only time I buy out of town tickets is when I happen to be visiting another state. I don't drive an hour or two just for tickets, I use the sites on the left side of the page (under Click a game to play ). I just don't have that much time to invest to get tickets personally, so the Web sites are awesome. However, when I'm visiting another state I always make it a point to play the lottery there.
