			<description><![CDATA[<p>I don&#x27;t know if this is the right space, but there was a question in this morning&#x27;s Answer Line column in the Paper.  Person wrote in and noticed that hardly anyone takes the annuity if available.  Good reasons for that.  Money now...pay Fed income Taxes now. (state and local exempt in Pa.)  Go buy new house, new car, etc. etc. now.... invest the rest at better rate than what the state will pay out.  Live off the interest, without touching the original principle.  Down side. 			<description><![CDATA[<p>I do the same.  On&#x27;y when visiting, but now since we have powerball in Pa, I don&#x27;t even play out of state.  I do however get scratch tickets, and cash in the winners (if any) when I leave.  Of course, the other state, probably most visisted is Delaware where my friends and I go to play the Video lottery, which is the Politically Correct term for Slot Machines operated by the State Lottery. I don&#x27;t drive an hour or two just for tickets, I use the sites on the left side of the page (under  Click a game to play ).  I just don&#x27;t have that much time to invest to get tickets personally, so the Web sites are awesome.  However, when I&#x27;m visiting another state I always make it a point to play the lottery there.</p>]]></description>
