Tso-gali-II'm seeing that most of you that wheel your number's, wheel about 23 to 25 number's to get your 30 to 50 combination's. I really try to capture the five number's that hit within 12 to 18 number's, and then I play $10 or 20 dollar's worth.I do get very close but not close enough yet. I feel good about how close I do get on every draw. That tells me I'm doing something right. I just need to fine-tune some things a little bit, and then maybe it will be my time... The overall odds of having a winning ticket in PowerBall is 1:36. If you are doing better than that, then you are doing better than most. If you are doing worst than that, then you need to adjust your strategy or use a RNG to make your picks. I agree that you got to be lucky to hit the bigone, but you should be able to match the overall odds without much effort, even playing the numbers 01 02 03 04 05 +06 would have produced 4 winners out of 138 draws(1:35).RJOh

What's really wild is the numbers that are coming out? No matter how hard I try. I cant seem to find the winning combinations. Working with powerballs past history and choosing numbers that are hot and cold isn't working for me. whatever numbers I pick almost never come out. The numbers that hit are one or two picks from the numbers I chose to play. Knowing this I filled out play slips with numbers in front and back of the numbers I put on the first ticket. As far as I know, only 1 person from Indiana won the 2nd prize. Thats pretty crazy with respect to the jackpot level.

Kristin,It's the first time I've ever seen them track so closely. However, they are deceptively different -- even though the advertised jackpots are the same, the cash options are much different. MM is $50 million cash vs. PB $46 million. The annuity jackpots are the same only because Powerball uses a longer payoff period (30 years) vs. MM's 26-year payoff.I'd rather win the Mega Millions jackpot right now

Their jackpots may be the same but the cash value of PowerBall is $46M and MegaMillions is $49.8M, so if both roll over again, I would expect that MegaMillions might have a bigger jackpot next time also.RJOh

wow, these jackpots are getting tied every time no one hits! Its getting pretty exciting, I dont know, but I think its the first time these jackpots have been close together like this? Maybe I am wrong
