I loaded the cassandra first 2 on the top but when i deleted his demo numbers and entered mine it did not calculate so do I assume it is only for demo purposes. I thought i could use to display my own numbers. Do any of them calculate? thanks

Thanks, Hyper.I always try to keep Excel spread sheets to a downloadable size. That is the main reason to look into further reduction of formula size.Now if you are talking about an IF challenge I can do better!Here the same formula with no IF at all...=D2-INT(D2*0.2)*5+1Good Luck

If you do one sheet correctly (midday), just copy the sheet, rename it evening and input your evening data..works well for me.

thanks MikeK.I did test it, it works no prob... it pushes the number of IFs to the limit tho.Nice formula... does the exact same thing only using just one IF... I'm impressed ;-)I replaced my formulas with it and it works like a charm

Hyper,I think that the formula:=IF(D2=0,1,IF(D2=5,1,IF(D2=1,2,IF(D2=6,2,IF(D2=2,3,IF(D2=7,3,IF(D2=3,4,IF(D2=8,4,5))))))))is too big for big spread sheet.My suggestion is to change it to the smaller Formula=IF(D2>4,D2-4,D2+1)I am using automatic vtracs converions in my spreadsheets at http://tciworld.com/cassandra.htmGood Luck

best advice I have is to get friendly with the paper clip (or whatever you have the office assistant set to). If you see a term you need more info on, just use help to find it, such as formula, autofill, range, etc... most have great samples and walk-throughs

ok, you need to enter the = (not the one that is already on the top of excel, if you push that first equal sign it will allow you to use the built in formula wizard to modify the formula)you can just copy and paste from above into the cell...if you enter 4+3 into a cell, it will display 4+3 if you enter =4+3 into a cell, it will display 7 Autofill... you must enter all of the information into the first 2 rows (rows go across, columns up/down). next question. When I enter in cell a,b,c 2 do I enter the latest draw and then fill in the next 50-100 draws to build a data base. Also what cell do I enter the latest current draw into where there is no blank cell? thanks again.

thanks. Another question. Not being familiar with excel when I got to column d and clicked on it but did not enter any number I went up to the =sign and enteredthe formulaint(c2/100) hit enter and it came out in the column d cell. What did I do wrong and how do I fix it? then i will nkow how to enter all the other formulas. Thanks for the help.

Pick 4 version...New sheet... first row for headers DRAW|DATE|COMBO|1|2|3|4|V1|V2|V3|V4|VcomboColumn A = Drawing numberColumn B = Drawing DateColumn C = the drawn combo.
