Syndicates improve your chances of winning.You will have to share your winnings.That's the trade off.

I think that playing in a syndicate gives more chances to win. I've read somewhere that 1/3 of all Jackpot winners in UK national lottery were syndicates.I think the only problem with them is a management. Just to be sure you get your money.Maybe the best way is a syndicate covered by third party company.
