I just hope whoever bought that ticket is aware of the fact that they are a winner and for whatever reason this person is taking his or her time coming forward. It would really burn me up that someone would win this amount of money and through carelessness or not caring enough just to lose the ticket or throw it out. To have this truly once in a lifetime opportunity frittered away would be a tragedy and in my opinion an outrage. I would love to claim that jackpot and so would a lot of other pe... [ More ]

I wouldn't doubt the winner is in jail. Or possibly in the service and shipped off to the Middle East. Could have been involved in a bad accident and still in traction or rehab, or a comma Who knows ? It could be the winner is afraid of the way his or her life will be altrered as a result. I've often wondered how my life would change if I won the big one. If, in a way I might regret it. I just might, but I'm gonna find out the hard way, if I happen to be so fortunate.

I also think the ticket is either lost or destroyed. If it was me who won $239 million dollars, and I had to set things straight before I claimed the prize, It would take me at most 21 days. And also the fact that i'm impatient, I would only be able to wait long enough for my tax accountant to do his job.How many states return the prize money back to the pool if no one claims it

But it isn't 60 days of the drawing. Its 60 days after your ticket it validated and you claim it. So I believe it doesn't matter from that stand point. But just think of the interest you are losing while waiting $5342.00 a day at 1.5% interest if the cash option is worth $130 million. All that money is just going to the state!Brad
