we cant work efficiently without computer.If I use paper and pencil,I woud have to spend more time about 200 times than with paper pencilThat's right goose which is why I solicited some help with this. But for me even with excel I would still have had trouble see we tried for three hours or more to separate the numbers form the hit list. And my friend couldn't figure it out. Mikek you are absolutely correct. I checked it out on my viewer by the date and found it. When I typed it in the find field box it says not found? weird. Doesn't happen with other numbers. Maybe the viewer doesn't recognize the script of the numeral oh well thanks for checking the 0000s I can cross them of the list. Speaking of quads and triples 666 hit tonight. Nope not on my play list LOL. but 2222 and 9999 will be for a while.

I only found out recently about excel and what you could do with it being a machinist and working most of the time I never knew about excel or have a reason to use it. then I checked the price for the full program for windows 98 and found out you need to take classes to learn it. four4me,Using Excel, and doing copying and pasting, I combined all of the lists Maryland offers on their web site this morning. They have the old one you menioned, plus a 2002 plus apartial 2003 (Until March) and the recent ones form April 2003 until now. I just put them all together and cleaned them up using Excel.So the result is a decent list form the beginning to now, that can easily be updated form now on.Good Luck

Mike which site are you using to find those numbers you are posting for Maryland. I know for sure that Maryland's data base only goes up to 12/30/2001 They have it in excel format for down loading. I use it to check numbers. Then I have to do a month by month check of their numbers on their websites individual pages for the time period 12/31/01 to the present. Goose this number hit tonight in MD 5982 so with the convertor I was able to find out that all the numbers in green have already hit in MD but the ones in blue have not hit yet. These are the numbers I would keep in a list of numbers that are due. with the converter I was able to check Maryland's data base excel spread sheet witch is not up to date and then go on the web and check the rest of the numbers to see if they hit yet. Did you try the converter. It is what I was referring to. See when you play pick 4 you might have a particular number you like to play in your state. four4me,glad you like it.While I was testing whether it works when you copy many numbers into the input area, I noticed that it might take quite a while for the tool create the list, depending on the machine speed you are using maybe a few minutes, which brought me to the idea to also create a tool that prints out all of the numbers that are NOT part of the selection, which would actually give you a list of all the numbers that were NOT yet picked. That might be actually the list you are trying

Four 4 meThis may work for you. Take the 1000 pick 3 straights and make ten copies add to the front of one copy the digit 0 then each digit thru digit 9. You will end up with the 10,000 straights. Do you have a spreadsheet? If you do you can create a list of the 10,000 possible p4 combos just by typing in the first two numbers to establish te pattern and then autofill in the rest. You would just have to hold down your mouse button all the way down to 9999. Start with 0001 and 0002.

four4me,If I understand what you are trying to do (find combinations of 4's that have not hit in any boxed combination), your solution isn't that hard. Since match 4's combinations have 25 ways they can be played, a list of all box combinations(10,000/25) should be included on a list of 400 combinations. See our data base is not complete it only goes up to 2001 and i have to manually input data to complete the list then make a list of numbers from 0000 to 9999 and get rid of all the numbers that have already hit i will be left with about 1800 hundred numbers or so that havent hit yet.Do you understand what i want to do i'm not asking you to do the work i'm looking for a program or sombody that can make a program that will do a 24 number checker for a simple 4 sequence number. I am not interested in any more combination or added numbers each number has its own sequence that is 1234 can be made into twenty four numbers that i can check against our data base and eliminate all the numbers that have hit starting with 0000 and working up to 9999 by hand on paper i am looking at weeks of work. A double digit number like 1223 would be 20 numbers I think. I haven't done it on paper in a while and it's a real pain to do a lot of them you see if you can make a quick number combination from say 1234 then you can check to see whether it has hit or not on local web site. I like to check some particular numbers to see if they have hit or not. I like playing some numbers that are due to hit rather than numbers that have already hit.
