It's all about the careful count of dvents... The concept of splitting wednesday vs. saturday data will not bring anyone any closer to a prediction system, but I definitely see the possibilities for a trapping system....It is still just a concept, not even an associated Excel sheet yet, but if it works out favorably in backtesting, I will create a wednesday-only wheel, possibly eliminating saturday play altogether (or at least when the Jackpot is low)...

I don't think they're entirely random either - I think it's based more on ball position at the time they're dropped into the hopper. I started a thread just about that to avoid changing the topic here, but I think I'll look into the data based on Wedn vs Sat as well. Maybe they use different setups on different nights, etc.plnwebguy

If everything is equal ,then why bother being here? or working on stuff? It would be alot easier to give up, right? All we have is the draw history (they don't publish practice draw results), I don't care how random they say it is, Biases DO exist... Just look at the 27 as powerball... out 150 draws... Every other number has been drawn at least once, 35 was drawn 7 times... There are as many numbers drawn 6 times as powerball as there are one-hit-wonders...Systems can work, but it takes work...

For once I agree with goose. since numbers are randomly drawin, and mutual exclusivity exists, there should be no rhyme or reason what numbers should be drawn, all have an ezqual chance. True, some numbers come out more than others, but does that make them any more likely or not likely.OR is goose refering to what people think of him/her in general? Do the right thing and don't stoop that low!Good work Todd.

The more I look at the data separated, I think that Wednesday data may be slightly easier to ever have a chance of predicting (or at least guessing correctly)Here is what I have so far...32 repeats in SATURDAY ONLY history... 18 are positional (including 2 powerball repeats, #7 #29)--6 times, 2 numbers repeated--1 3-draw chain (#26)--100% draw ranges by position...----WB1 01 to 32 (32)----WB2 02 to 45 (43)----WB3 06 to 50 (44)----WB4 09 to 52 (44)----WB5 10 to 53 (44)----RB1 01 to 42 (42)--- 6... [ More ]
