Thanks to all those who have responded. Your feedback is very valuable. You have given hope to those who have not won anything yet. And I do believe that if you keep trying and believe that you will also win, YOU WILL WIN!!! To all those who have won some or more, did you play Quick Pick or Favorites more? Thanks again.

I wouldn't turn it down, that's for sure. It would certainly help in getting a house. But the feeling of being one number away is rough. I was once one number away from winning $50,000 in Mass Millions in 1991. I had 4 of 6 and the bonus number, and my other number was a 41 instead of a 42. The bonus number does you no good unless you have 5 of 6, so I ended up winning not even the stated $100, but for some reason the state chisled $10 off that week and I only got a lousy $90.

I am now in my 2nd 1-year season ticket for MegaMillions, and have won a total of $2 on my $180 investment so far. That's okay. I tell myself I want to save my luck to win the big one and not waste it on small stuff. The last time I won anything more than $2 was 1998 when I had 5 of 6 in MA Megabucks and won $1500, which went right to my credit card bill. I can't see playing the lottery as anything more than fun wishful thinking, like the internet sweepstakes I enter. $40 million?

I had 5 numbers in the Illinois lottery several years ago., Was one number off on the 6th number. Have won $100 about 5 times in various games. I play MB.PB.and sometimes Ill lotteries. Have been playing only 1 or 2 dollars on the lotteries as they are not high enough to bet more. Have been on a tiny tiny streak lately getting the PB27 and MB27 and three numbers last night. I just play for fun and enjoy it. Just thinking about winning is worth a buck!!

I like that when preparation meets opportunity it' a pretty catchy phrase. I think anyone can win at this game and not only small amounts...although small amounts are welcome at any time that I am not winning large amounts. I have hit the jackpot twice in illinois on the little lotto and at 5 months apart...needless to say the money is well spent and I am trying for more.It has been over 4 years now that that had happened and at 200,000 dollars each time...I would say that that is not too s... [ More ]

I've been lucky enough to have wins in the $50 to $100 range every now and then. It seems to run in spurts, and right now I'm on a cold streak...lol. That kind of money is just enough for more ammunition. My biggest lottery win came several years back on the old Lotto Kentucky when I had five out of six numbers for a win of $1000. I had played a $5 QuickPick. It felt good to win, but I needed the money pretty badly at the time, so it was practically already spent when I won. The experience did g... [ More ]
