I just figured it. It is higher than I thought. You would win 49.6% of the time by playing just those sum jumps. So, in California the last draw was 968 = sum of 23 = ones digit 3. So, 3+2=5, 3+1=4, 3-2=1, and 3-4=9. So, look for the next draws ones digit to be 5, or 4, or 1, or 9. This is the chart for Texas, but it is not as clear as California as to the proper ones to play: 5= 15 +4= 12 +3= 15 +2= 12 +1= 15 0= 9 -1= 14 -2= 14 -3= 16 -4= 18

Rojo, that is the jump in the sum (ones digit) from the previous draw. This works very well in some states (especially California), if you want to reduce the total possible numbers, or just play the numbers in the sum that is indicated. Here is my chart for California: 5=18 +4=19 +3=27 +2=30 +1=38 0=26 -1=29 -2=31 -3=21 -4=39The highlighted numbers are the 4 that are the highest count. If you total all of them and then check the total of the highlighted, I think you will find that if you just... [ More ]

When trying to find the Key Number, Sandy, first I look at the positions (12345-67890) and see if any number is in its respective position. If there is more than one, then I don't use that and I go to looking at the position that is overdue. Normally the positions do not skip as many times as the actual numbers do.Here is my current info on Texas: 37950-28614 35028-76914 35028-76914 52837-69014 83769-01524 68901-35724 90163-58724 63058-71294 05368-71294 68731-02594 73102-58946 70125-83946 1027... [ More ]

FloridaGirl,I don't do Fantasy 5 for Florida. I do it for California, but I don't post it!! Fantasy 5 is where the money is, even had a Lotto employee say that if he could play, it would be Fantasy 5. But since I only compute California and since this is pari-mutual....well, guess I'm just selfish!!Be careful which post of mine you are looking at. This thread is for Texas and you are playing in Florida!! I post (on my nights off) for California, Georgia, South Carolina, Texas, and Florida.... [ More ]

cdude--thanks very much for the detailed response; its just what i was looking fordo you attribute the difference in % between tx and ca to the size of the samples or something else(eg tx using balls and ca computer draws? one would think it is the former and the stats will become closer--it is hard to believe that the manner of drawing could result in such a pronounced biasthanks again for your work

My Key # continued:The next to last column is the position numbers (in my 10-digit number) of the real numbers that were called. Looking at the very bottom of the chart, on 4/27 evening, 952 was the draw. Looking at the 10-digit number, you will see that the 9 is in position 9, the 5 is in position 7, and the 2 is in position 1...therefore 971.Here is how I figure out my Key #...go back to top of the chart... 071 172 (422) 739 589 (595) 641I write down on a piece of paper:1= 6=2= 7=3

cadl, I don't see any dumb questions!! In fact your questions are very important. Here is the chart for the distribution of Column A and Column B for Texas: (0-3) = 6 (1-2) = 4 (2-1) = 6 (3-0) = 6 0-3 = 3 1-2 = 30 2-1 = 15 3-0 = 2The () indicate doubles. In Texas the distribution of A1-B2 and A2-B1 are very lopsided. It seems to stay that way, but here is the chart for California (much longer time): (0-3)= 8 (1-2)= 11 (2-1)= 18 (3-0)= 17 0-3= 11 1-2= 63 2-1= 66 3-0= 9Notice how close 1-2 a... [ More ]
