After the 4/28/04 drawing, I did a sampling of the previous 30 drawings and found that most of the powerballs had hit 3-4 times in 162 draw history. There were 13 powerballs that still fitted that profile so I used them in a list of 15 combinations and went to Indiana to play them,so far I've matched a powerball every drawing. I played them for 3 drawings and play them again this past Saturday for another 3 drawings in hopes of being in the game if there was two more rollover. It will be inter... [ More ]

The median is a term statisticians use to indicate the center point on a scale that measures the distributions of a group (numbers, population and etc.). It's the point that divides the distribution in half, numerically there will be same number of occurances on both sides of that point. Median should not be confused with average, it may be close but it isn't the same.RJOh

I would have to think the hit median is the mid point of all hits when placed in sequential order.Ball No. No. of hits1 42 03 64 35 1The number of hits placed in order is:0 1 3 4 6, so the hit median would be 3, which would be the midpoint of all hits.
