I have a lot of people asking me to explain my method and/or do it for their state. I don't have the time to do other states. I'm responding here to bump this thread up to the top again so people can find this post.

I tried the same modification as above for California using the last 100 draws with the following results:The original way: 15 box 2 straight (last 50 draws)The modified way: 8 box 9 straight (last 50 draws)If you played straight only and used the modified way and it held up, you would invest $3200 ($64x50), and get back (figuring $500 for a straight) $4500. I just spent a lot of time going through my Texas database trying to determine if there really is a way to pick the digits in the correct order for a straight using the China Method. Here is what I discovered:I only have 82 draws that I have the 10-digit numbers in the database, so this is only for the last 82 draws. The counts for the digits are:#1 #2 #31=8 1=8 1=112=9 2=6 2=93=6 3=9 3=34=10 4=8 4=55=7 5=3 5=146=12 6=8 6=77=6 7=12 7=88=9

The LA Lottery only shows the last 7 draws and that was not enough to get the 10-digit number for LA. You will have to do it yourself from a database you maintain. You can start with those 7 and then just add on.

It seems to work about 1/3 of the time or a little more. Maybe we can improve it so that we get more wins. I'm thinking of seeing if there are positions that hit more for the first digit, and the second, etc. I think we can come up with improvements that will allow us to get more wins and maybe with less than 64 tickets. He said that you could have a guaranteed straight every draw by playing his system. Of course, that caught the eye of many of us!
